Images of fashion magazines double page spread

Double page spread

Audience - Girls aged between 16-25 who like fashion and and like to get the latest new trends
Colours - White background which allows the images of clothes to stand out better and the word hot is in pink which makes that word strand out more in the title. This is because by the word hot standing out it tells the reader that these clothes are hot
Images - All of the images are spread out not over lapping each other which means that the reader is able to look at the clothes better than they would be able to if they were all over the place

Audience - Girls aged between 16 - 25 who are interested in other peoples fashion and fashion in general
Colours - As the double page spread had a blue title and a white background it allows it to stand out more, also as everything is in black and white the pictures on the right also stand out because there the only thing in colour
Images - As there is one big main imagine in the middle of the double page spread it really stands out as it is the first thing that catches peoples attention

Ideas for my As Media coursework - Fashion magazine

Front cover - (my ideas)

  • latest trends
  • 'Top 10 beauty tips'
  • 1 main imagine in the middle at eye level drawing the readers in
  • Magazine Title - 'The latest'
Back Cover - (my ideas)
  • Bar code
  • Price
  • Advert for clothing/make up
Colours in this magazine are simple as it has a white background with some sections pink. Also the magazine has used some yellow writing right in the middle as this is what they want the readers to see as it is likely to make them pick the magazine up and buy it.
The audience is for anyone between 16 - 25 as it has all of the latest fashions in there and how people can get a bargain on products for under £10. Katy Perry is also a well known artist for this age range therefore more people are likely to buy it as they know the person on the front cover, whereas if it was somebody they don't know they may not buy it as they cannot relate to them as much.
